Other Information
Prosecco hails from Northeastern Italy, though its heartland is a small region in the Veneto called Conegliano Valdobbiadene. The grape used to make Prosecco was called both Prosecco and Glera, with thin-skinned green grape grown in the Veneto and Friuli regions for hundreds of years.
